Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Breakers Tennis mobile application and the breakers-tennis.com website (together, the "Services"), operated by Breakers Tennis ("Breakers", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Services. By using the Services you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may sign in with email, Apple, or Google. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account in the app.

3. Events and tournaments

The Services let you discover and register for tennis events and tournaments, view brackets, and record results. Where an event requires a fee, the fee, refund, and cancellation terms for that specific event will be shown at the time of registration. Events are real-world activities; participation is at your own risk and subject to the rules of each event and venue.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the Services, interfere with their operation, or attempt to access them in an unauthorized way.
• Do not submit false results, impersonate others, or harass other members.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes others' rights.

5. Content you provide

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as your profile photo). You grant Breakers a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content within the Services for the purpose of operating community and tournament features.

6. Fair play and gamification

Breaker Points, rankings, and other gamification features are provided for engagement within the Breakers community and carry no monetary value. We may adjust scores or points to correct errors or address abuse.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Services in a way that harms other members or Breakers. You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Breakers is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services or participation in any event.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Services. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
